About

Welcome to The Honorable Hunter. My home page offers a broad array of content addressing categories including but not limited to: marvelous charitable organizations offering hunting and other outdoor opportunities to disabled hunters including veterans; hunting ethics, how to make the best arguments to defend hunting and the shooting sports; hunter education, youth hunting, shooting and education programs and notifications of hunting opportunities. This website will feature my own articles, opinions and experiences on these topics and will also include material from guest writers and links to material by other writers and links to websites. This website will offer material on food, wine, travel, fine guns and links to those people and organizations that support philosophy and mission of this website.

The Honorable Hunter website promotes books that I have written and books that I am now writing. My book, The Good, The Bad and The Difference: How to Talk with Children About Values, offers a structure to help parents talk to their children about ethical reasoning and judgment. Please see my website, www.kidsethicsbook.com. I am writing two books that relate to hunter education and ethics within the hunting and shooting communities. The hunter education book is tentatively titled You Want to Preserve Hunting? Tips to Help Instructors Be More Persuasive and for Students to Be Better Hunting Advocates. The book on inspiring and motivating ethical behavior within those communities is tentatively titled The Honorable Hunter: How to Defend and Advance Our Hunting Heritage.
